The keycard is a security token that gives you entry to doors with electrical motors. A door access card reader is required; it is mounted on the door. You can enter your card, swipe it, or tap on it (proximity reader) to gain access to these systems (insert Reader).

Users don’t need to insert a conventional or metal key to open a tumbler lock. Every time you try to unlock the card entry, the reader can read the embedded access credential that is present in the card’s magstripe or keycard. The reader will be able to access your card if it detects the special code.

Access control card reader systems for smart doors can make it simple to restrict and permit visitors into your space.

When communicating with the lock, the reader will recognize the access credential. Authentication with eNcard-i

The authentication mode has a choice of four possibilities. Where user authentication takes place—on the server, locally at the terminal, or both—is determined by this parameter. If there is a lot of network activity, there are lots of users, or authentication is taking too long, change this value. The terminal/Server is the predetermined setup.

  • Server/Terminal
  • Server/Terminal
  • Server Only
  • Terminal Only

Face Recognition

The terminal will not be able to identify an individual user’s face using this option, which is exclusively for face detection. This feature can be used for all card users, all mobile users, or all password users. The terminal will hold open the camera for up to 10 seconds once a card, mobile key, or password is presented. This functionality can be helpful when you want to force users to show their faces during verification, in case of lost cards, or lending cards to other employees during a time and attendance application. If no face is displayed after 10 seconds, the terminal will deny the transaction.
