The terminal is a ruggedized, vandal proof housing that is protected against the elements and is covered with an IP rated ingress protection enclosure.
The ViRDI AC-5000 IK can support 20,000 users per terminal. Like all of the other VirDI terminals it includes its patented finger print scanning algorithms and multi-frequency card reading capability. It can also tell the difference between a real live finger and a fake finger (made of gelatin, rubber, silicone, paper etc). The terminal also supports POE for time and attendance function. The terminal can also read 125KHz and 13.56MHz credentials as well as Smart Card, Felica, Mifare, DESFire and HID Prox/iClass cards such as credit card size cards and other types of cards.
Time and attendance functions can also be supported via POE connection on this Virdi fingerprint recognition terminal. The ViRDI AC-5000 IK fingerprint recognition terminal supports reading of either 125KHz or 13.56MHz credentials and Smart Card, Felica, Mifare, DESFire and HID Prox/iClass cards. The ViRDI AC-5000 IK terminal is an IP65 rated IK grade Virdi fingerprint recognition terminal which supports 20000 Users, 40,000 (1:1) fingerprints and 64,000 logs.
