The KR530(B) is made for places with a lot of people, like airports, hotels, border control kiosks, and government offices. It can read travel and identity documents from more than 200 countries. The device takes clear pictures and captures fine details in documents, such holograms and micro-text, thanks to its 5-megapixel sensor and 500 DPI resolution. It has OCR, 1D/2D barcode decoding, RFID or smart-card scanning (ISO/IEC 14443 & 7816), and automatic document type detection to make processes easier. The anti-glare, multispectral lighting (visible, IR, UV) makes sure that captures are always accurate, even when the lighting is bad or the surface is reflective. The KR530(B) is perfect for kiosks, e-gates, self-service check-in, and document verification systems in the UAE because it has full SDK support for Windows, Linux, and Android.
