The KR420 is designed for self-service and kiosk applications with a lot of traffic. It works with ICAO 9303-compliant passports, ID-1/ID-2/ID-3 formats, and papers from China and Asia that don’t follow any of these standards. It scans documents quickly and clearly, with no mistakes, in less than a second. It has visible and IR lighting, 500 DPI CMOS imaging, and automatic document detection. Its small, sturdy form makes it perfect for use in kiosks, immigration desks, hotel check-in stations, and government access points all around the UAE. It works with Windows and Linux and has an SDK that makes sure it integrates smoothly with other systems and works reliably.
