The AC-2100 PLUS has a built-in Fingerprint Scanner that is incorporated into an ingress protected (IP65) enclosure, which makes this reader suitable for harsh environments, and still be able to recognize efficient fingerprints in dusty and/or moist environments. The AC-2100 PLUS can store up to 10,000 users with 20,000 fingerprint templates (10,000 x 2 fingers). It also can read 125khz-EM cards and 13.56MHz Smart Cards for access control of doors and gates etc.
The AC-2100 PLUS comes with ViRDI’s patented live finger detection technology that enables the terminal to detect live fingers and distinguish them from fake fingerprint made from various materials including gelatin, rubber, silicone, paper and more. Wigand I & O and RS485 communication with the control panel are supported. The terminal can also be connected with a PC via USB and also via network using TCP/IP. The terminal comes with 1.77inch screen with easy-to-use graphic interface. The terminal is encased in same dimension as AC-2200 and does not come with Bluetooth-credential reading and HD-camera.
