It matches 200,000 fingerprint templates in one second, stores up to 500,000 users and reads both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz cards. Supplied in Dubai with installation and local support from eTOP.
The UBio-X Slim is a premium fingerprint and card terminal in a narrow 80 mm body that fits door frames, glass partitions and reception counters where a full-size reader will not. A quad-core 1.4 GHz processor with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB flash searches 200,000 fingerprint templates in about one second, keeping queues short at shift change.
It suits offices, schools, factories and government sites that want access control and time attendance on one device. Users verify with a fingerprint or a card, and the 500 dpi sensor with Live Fingerprint Detection rejects fake fingerprints. The terminal holds up to 500,000 users, 10 million event logs and 50,000 image logs.
The UBio-X Slim is managed with UNION’s UBio Alpeta server software and connects over TCP/IP, USB, RS232, RS485 and Wiegand in/out, with Wi-Fi available as an option.
It does not recognise faces. If you need touchless face recognition, choose the UBio-X Pro Lite or the UBio-X Face Premium instead.

It reads 125 kHz EM, HID Prox, HID iClass and 13.56 MHz smart cards, so most sites can keep their existing access cards when they add fingerprint authentication.
Yes. The UBio-X Slim uses Live Fingerprint Detection (LFD) on its 500 dpi sensor to reject fake or replica fingerprints before a match is accepted.
Not without protection. It operates from -20 to 60 °C, but UNION does not publish a dust or water ingress rating, so install it indoors or inside a covered, weather-protected enclosure.
