Fingkey Hamster III Cutting-Edge Fingerprint Sensor: The Hamster III by Nitgen Fingkey III Fingerprint Recognition is the latest installment of the Hamster series. Taking the best features of Hamster I and Hamster II, Nitgen has designed the device to be ergonomic, compact and irreplaceable in terms of functionality and safety. With an elegant appearance and yet equipped with Live Finger Detection and automatic ignition features, the scanner is capable of generating results in 300ms due to the standard USB 2.0 interface.

The Hamster III works on the award-winning Nitgen algorithm that allows you to apply user authentication routines accurately and quickly. Also designed based on ergonomic standards, the device can be adapted to two types of models (with and without the supports) based on the needs of the user.

SPECIAL FEATURES – Advanced optical technology:
Nitgen’s Fingkey Hamster III uses advanced optical technology. The scanner is not susceptible to errors of judgment even if dry or wet fingers are used. The scanner is also resistant to environmental changes and situations such as impacts, electric shocks or vibrations. The scanner is also resistant to scratches, which makes it a long-lasting device.

USB 2.0 interface: The Hamster III has been designed by Nitgen as an easy-to-use plug & play device. The device can work on high-speed USB and full-speed configurations that produce results in 300 ms and 500 ms, respectively. The scanner works with Windows (2000 or higher) and Linux Kernel 2.6x OS.

High quality images compatible with FBI PIV:
The Hamster III captures images compatible with the FBI PIV. These images have a resolution of 500 DPI and 248 x 292 pixels and can be used in applications related to the identification and verification of government users. They can be used in standard businesses from electronic commerce to identification of employees and even in banking when replacing conventional passwords.
